AE Pilates Education Teacher Training Program


Our Pilates Instructor Education Training Program is spread out over 4 modules and includes:
1. anatomy
2. biomechanics
3. various physical conditions/special populations
4. the exercise repertoire: proper set-up; cueing the client; precision & form!!
Modules will require 2 hours of take-home work/assignments, as well as include 2 hours of mentorship, plus ongoing communication with our Master Instructors. In addition, 12 hours of observation & 12 hours of practice teaching are required to be completed before the next education module.
Upon completion of module education training, students are comprehensively trained and receive a certificate of completion. Students then simply need to begin OR continue teaching. Once they have completed a total of 325 hours of teaching, beyond module requirements, they are eligible to become certified instructors!
Education modules are scheduled on weekends and look like:
* 4 hours on Friday, late afternoon/early evening
* 8 hours on Saturday
* 3 - 4 hours on Sunday
Different days/times are open to variability based on the cumulative requests of each student entering training.
Each module is $625, including the cost of the manual. Discount options are provided when paying for all 4 modules:
-Pay in full, 15% discount = $531.25/Module, $2,125
-Two payments, 10% discount = $562.50/Module, $2,250

Module 1:
March 6th - 8th
May 15th - 17th (Greenwood, MS)
Module 2:
April 10th - 12th
Module 3:
June 5th - 7th
June 19 - 21
Module 4:
September 17th - 19th
October 2nd - 4th
Module 1
Mat work - all levels AND basics of movement, muscles, & biomechanics, 16 hours.

Module 2
Apparatus Level 1 (chair, reformer, tower) AND continued biomechanics + client development, 16 hours.

Module 3
Apparatus Level 2 AND spinal disorders/considerations + pre/postnatal considerations, 16 hours.

Module 4
Apparatus Level 3 AND athlete considerations + overview, 16 hours.
